Salve, WELCOME TO THE IMPERIAL ROMANS OF NEW ZEALAND!

IMPERIUM ROMANA is an Auckland based Roman Living History group and display club. New members are welcome and we have spare gear if you would like a try-out. We train fortnightly and perform as a Roman legion, LEGIO VI FERRATA ("Iron-clad"), at public events, museums, schools, tv commercials, parades and private functions. The Roman army is great fun!

The NZ GLADIATOR SCHOOL trains gladiators and gladiatrix (female gladiators) and we perform at public events providing gladiatorial shows. You are invited to train with our champions and feel the excitement of the Arena! (Don't worry, it's fake blood)

Everyone is welcome! We have noble senators, matrons and children or slaves often march in our parades in period Roman dress, and join in the Roman feasts and games. Living history is a great shared experience.
