CAMP QUALITY, KARAPIRO, 11 JAN 2015
We were invited by the Volknut to participate in a charity event for sick children. Members of the Auckland Norse, Auckland Sword and Shield and a couple of longswordsmen were also present. Displays included archery against a shield wall, Roman foot drill, a Norse battle and a gladiator/trix fight between Jorkell and Idunna. The children were given the chance to fire a Roman ballista and longbows. Unfortunately, we were asked not to take photographs while the children were in the camp due to privacy concerns, so we have few photographic records of what was a great day.
