Dirigete frontem - dress ranks
Intentite - Attention!
Redite - eyes front
Scuta portate - pick up shield   
Scuta dimittite - put down shield
Pila portate - pick up pilum       
Pila dimittite - put down pilum
Signam sequute - follow signa
Procedite - forward march 
Accelerate - faster
Tardate - slower
Consiste - halt  
Dimitto - dismissed

Ad gladios convertite - right wheel or L-shaped turn right.
Ad scuta Transformate - about turn left
Ad unum - form one rank
Ad duo - form two ranks
Ad tres - form three ranks
Ad orbis - form circle
Ad castorum - Form shield wall 
Ad testudinem - form testudo
Ad vallum - form vallum
Ad cuneum - form wedge
Ad linea - back into line
Lungete - close up
Largite - open up

Pila inclinate – pila angle ready
Pila iactum parite – ready throw
Pila prima mittite – First row throw  (Secunda, Tres)

Mutate! – Change! (sin/dex)
Gladios stringite - draw swords (held against side of shield)
Gladios tollete - held above head point back (crowd charge)
