Autumn training at the Roman temple
New legionary Pilosus Pecus stationed on boring guard duty suddenly has to fight off an Amazon raiding party. Marcus Carnifex ("the Butcher") trains young Nemo in the tricks of the gladiatorial arena. Our head combat trainer Lucius gives Pilosus some pointers in sword play with the short gladius. Brutus and Daniel practice archery and tossing plumbata darts. Roman training is hard and relentless, until Lisa commands us to demolish the leaning tower of pizza.
