NZ Police Romans - 14 Jan

We were joined by the NZ Police for our Roman training session. Besides wanting selfies with a Roman, they tried gladius combat, pilum throwing, and punching the tree with Vic's gauntlet to show just how much more effective it was than a taser. Most of the session was on missile weapons including archery, slings and plumbata, and some experimental archaeology trying out the pila with rapid fire.
