Following the success of Roman Empire a second series was commissioned by Netflix to be filmed in New Zealand comprising of many more episodes and a much bigger budget for the battle scenes. Imperium-Romana provided Roman props, historical advice, and soldiers experienced in combat for the filming. All under wraps and strictly confidential until the official film release, probably in 2018. This was a tremendous experience for all involved.
