Leg III Cyrenaica at Fort No. 4 - Sat 8 & Sun 9 July
The Imperial Romans of Leg III Cyrenaica event "Out of Time: Romans Visit the Fort" at #4 in Charlestown, New Hampshire, on the Connecticut River. Romans Andy Volpe, Phil Perez, Adrian Gunn, Quinton Johansen, Caroline Bigelow, and Joe Balmos of the University of Pennsylvania Museum, also attended by long-distance members, Brett & Lisa Clark of Imperium-Romana New Zealand. We had a Roman living history camp with cooking over the open fire, Roman training in sword play, formations and pilum throwing, hands-on instruction for the kids, and demonstrations by Joe of metallurgy.
