Festival Italiano - Sun 1 Oct
The Imperial Romans at the Festival Italiano helping celebrate the wonderful Italian culture of food, drink, dancing and song. The Romans marched around Newmarket, through the railway station, past the Italian sports cars, saluted the audience and Sir John Kirwin, President of the Dante Alighieri Auckland Italian Society, before sitting down to a lunch much better than army rations.
